Taxi group protesting in Dublin

Dublin this afternoon. The protest is organised by a group calling
itself Taxi Drivers for Change. The organisers accuse the Minister
for Transport,Noel Dempsey, and the Taxi Regulator, Kathleen Doyle,
of not listening to their concerns. They are also protesting against
a €247 increase in their renewal fees, which they say was done
with no warning or consultation.

Miss Katleen Doyle sure has the knack of announcing things at the wrong
time. The country is facing a crisis, Taxes have been raised as has prsi.
Drivers are begging for some breathing room and this fool puts the
cost of a Psv Licence up more than 1000%. Is this country deliberatly
making it impossible for people to work?
