Taxi regulators office occupied - 16/04/2009
A small group of taxi drivers have begun a sit down protest in the
taxi regulator's office. Around 25 members of the taxi drivers for
change group are occupying the premises on Fitzwilliam Square
in Dublin. The action follows a series of protests by the group
calling on the regulator Kathleen Doyle to cap the number of new
taxi licences being issued.
