TrustID Taxi
I read your recent post regarding the TrustiD Taxi system.
The problem regarding the NTA logo is as I previously explained. The image that
was presented on the information sheet was presented as an example of what
the label might look like. It was never intended, nor expected, that someone
was going to copy it and put it on line. The fact that it got released into the
public domain was a genuine error on our part and one which has caused us a
lot of problems with the NTA. As soon we were informed that an old document
had been accidently distributed we have done our best to ensure that anyone
who received it was informed of the error.
I would be grateful if you could remove the label, or at the very least erase
the NTA logo, as that is what is causing the problem. The image is copyright
of the NTA; we fully acknowledge we did not have their permission to release
it and as such we request that it be removed from your forum. We did not
release it with the intention of misleading anyone. If this has caused confusion
I can only apologise for that. It was a genuine error on our part.
We have removed it from all our subsequent documents and it does not appear
on any of the official TrustiD Taxi labels currently affixed to taxis in Waterford
as part of the pilot scheme. I would be happy to talk to you if you would like to
call me if the above explanation is insufficient in any way.
Thank you for your assistance,
Best regards,
Robert Leslie

If these people had bothered to look at this post before having it removed they would have see I removed the logo and replaced it with a train, yet in a hurry to repair damage they did not bother to look. What they removed
