Meeting sought with the Minister for Transport to discuss concerns.
The Irish Taxi councils stepped up their protest this morning , to include refusing to pick up passengers at Cork and Dublin airports. Two of its members are currently holding a sit in at the commission for taxi regulation in a bid to get the Minister for Transport , Noel Dempsey to meet with them. The two men protesting in the commission offices, have been there since 3 o`clock yesterday and are not eating, drinking and using the toilet. Frank Byrne of the Irish Taxi Council says it will all end if , the Minister agrees to meet with them to discuss their concerns.....
