This taxi site is being wound down, the service providers is seeking everyone to go premium therefore making it no longer free to operate. You can continue to use the other site at http://taxieire.forumotion.net.

However as most taxi drivers seem to have little concern for there industry, too much traffic is not expected. As for myself I am still on the fringes of the industry, only now driving mini buses. I would be my intention to return if competition was not so great. In my opinion the only way to do that is by making the cost of entry much greater. Capping numbers sounds good but Even if current figures remain in the industry, there is no income in it for anyone. I believe if cars have to be less than 4 years old, the industry would be capped naturally. Part timers would not want the cost and those offering a service with there 94 Corina would be gone immediately.

Those renting cars would be eliminated as if would not be profitable purchasing newer cars. But instead we focus on capping the industry and rightly so the public offer us no support. We can't have it every way. It can be only achieved by higher costs. If you had taxi limited to 4 year old cars I believe you would lose half the industry over three years. Any way........ food for thought.
